No tracking

We set no cookies and use no analytics, tag managers, ad networks, or third-party trackers. Nothing about your visit is used to build a profile.

Language preference

Your chosen language is stored locally in your browser (a single value, “wf-lang”). It never leaves your device and is never sent to us.

Server logs

Our hosting provider (Amazon Web Services / CloudFront) processes technical access logs — IP address, time, and browser type — to deliver the site and keep it secure. Legal basis: legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Approximate location

To show weather near you, the site may read a coarse, city-level location derived from your connection. It is used only for that request and is not stored or linked to you.

Weather data

Forecasts come from MET Norway (api.met.no). Fetching a forecast discloses the requested coordinates to that service under its own terms.

Fonts

Display fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may transmit your IP address to Google LLC (USA) when the fonts are fetched.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, or restriction of your data, and you can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any right, email us.
